Mitt Romney – Establishment Playing Dangerous Balancing Act

The political and media establishment are playing a dangerous game.

On the one hand they want Romney to be the Republican nominee yet at the same time they do not want Romney to beat Obama.

While Obama may be unpopular, Mitt Romney is a dividing figure which could erode majorities in congress and make it even more difficult for the establishment to pass the laws they want.

Obama is the establishment’s choice for president in 2012.

But it is a balancing act. They want to erode Romney credibility vs Obama while at the same time trying to ensure that Romney gets the nomination.

This is why you have Newt Gingrich playing the hunting dog for the republican party.

Newt Gingrich believes Ron Paul is a danger to America, Newt Gingrich is prepared to be used in any way the political establishment sees fit in order to make sure Ron Paul does not get the Republican nomination.

If that means Newt Gingrich has to flush his reputation down the toilet for the good of the country as he sees it, then so be it.

An example? Newt Gingrich accusing Mitt Romneny of being too capitalistic at Bain Capital

Newt Gingrich is a puppet, a tool for Mitt Romney to bounce off.

You have the extreme Newt Gingrich saying things that are a bit too much and then you have Mitt Romney toning things down a bit to make him look like the sensible option instead of Newt Gingirch.

As this back and forth between Gingrich and Romney keeps them both in the news while making Romney looking like the most reasonable republican candidate.

And all this to try to make sure the Ron Paul does not get any traction in the media.

The plan will back fire if American voters can see the games the media and politicians are using on them.

There is a massive and growing ground swell of support for the Ron Paul, at some point it is going to reach a critical mass.

When there is a critical mass on support of Ron Paul is will be self fuelling and will grow exponentially.

Everybody/American people want Ron Paul as president, some people just do not realise it yet.

Why does everybody want Ron Paul as president?

For one simple reason. Ron Paul wants you as an American to be free to do what you want to do without the interference from government. Ron Paul wants you to be free to do what you want as long as you do not infringe on someone else’s freedom.

Ron Paul wants you to reach your full potential as a person and for America to reach its full potential as a country.

That is basically it. What American does not want to be free?
