While it is published in the mainstream media that Tripoli has been “liberated” the whole situation asks bigger questions.

It is reported than UK, USA and French airstrikes have been targeting Gaddafi targets with the aim of changing the regime.
Yet France, UK and the USA have only been authorised to stop Gaddafi military from attacking rebel fighters by the use of a no fly zone only.
Regime change is completely outside the mandate of the UN Resolution but no media outlets seem to care about this.
No media outlet is calling the UK, USA and France liars for saying they were only going to impose a no fly zone yet they have been supplying rebels with weapons and they have also been bombing targets in Libya with the goal of overthrowing Gaddafi. Something the USA, France and UK said they would not do
So to recap, the UK, USA and France have used the military of their countries against the wishes of the population that pays for the military and nothing is said in the media.
This is apparently acceptable behaviour now. It now appears to be acceptable that leaders of countries can use the military in their country for their own purposes even if the people they claim to represent, the population either do not want the military used to overthrow regimes in other countries.
What is the world coming to?
What is my problem with Gaddafi being deposed by military intervention by the USA, UK and France?
Whether we like it or not Libya is a sovereign country and it has had its regime changed by foreign countries by undemocratic military action.
The precedent has now been set; no sovereign country on the planet is safe.
World leaders have now been sent the message, if you do not go along with our agenda (whatever that is) you will be removed from power either through peaceful revolutions such as that in Egypt (and failed revolutions such as those in Iran) and if that does not work, military force will be used under the guise of humanitarian aid.
If these revolutions are peaceful it would not be so bad but thousands of civilians have been killed in Libya by the UK, USA and France yet you hear nothing of this in the media. Far more civilians have been directly & indirectly killed by the UK, USA and France than by Gaddafi, yet the UK USA and France are portrayed as the forces on a humanitarian mission.
Anyone who has read about Rwanda and the genocide that happened there will know that humanitarian aid is not a priority of the UK, USA and France.
