Two sides to every headline

With a “unity government” in Greece and with a supposedly neutral PM, could this be the shape of democracy in Greece for the future?

What do I mean?

I mean this, the prime minster from now on will be a central banker/Trilateral Commission/Bilderberg member and the elections merely change the composition of the ministers in the government.

Could it be, from now on in Greece there will only be one government no matter which party is popular?

Could a “unity” government now be a permanent fixture in Greece?

Some people may say, “okay, if there is a unity government from now on, what is the problem with that?”

The problem is people compromising their principles. A unity government is undemocratic for one day or for one year.

It should be impossible for a capitalistic leaning political party to work with a socialist leaning political party.

How can these 2 parties possibly work together when their fundamental beliefs in the nature of people is so different?

Capitalists believe in the basic goodness of people and that the vast majority of people feel good when they help someone less fortunate than them, whereas socialists believe people are basically selfish and self-serving and need a “good” government to make sure people treat each other properly.

How can people with such fundamental difference possibly work together?

In an ideal world the capitalist political party would have the majority, form a government and that would allow everyone to be free to do what they want.

A truly capitalistic government in Greece would let people be in charge of their own lives and to keep the money that they earn. And a true capitalistic government would also allow people who believed in socialism to like socialists.

People could live however they wanted to live without interference from government unless they wanted to involve the government.

On the other hand you have a situation where a socialist government could have the majority, as is the case in Greece at the moment, and if you believe in socialism, you could be happy with the situation. However if you believe in true capitalism the socialist government does not allow you to be free and if you try to live in a capitalistic way and live without government involvement, the government threatens you with physical violence if you attempt to live free.

So you have 2 choices

A capitalistic system where socialists and capitalists are free to live side by side without the threat of physical violence by a government.

Or you can choose a socialist system where everyone has to live in socialistic system and anyone who wants to live outside of a socialist system is either exposed to actual or threatened physical violence if they do not comply with the socialist system.

So to summarise the political situation in Greece now and its possible long-term effects.

To say the a government of unity is a good thing is Greek government and EU propaganda. A unity government is a form of dictatorship and leads to increase voter apathy which is not good for democracy or true freedom.
