Given the protests on 28th of October 2011 which led to the cancellation of the miliary parades in Thessaloniki could the Greek military now been seen as a tool to oppress the Greek people rather than being a force to protect the people?

The video could be an isolated incident regarding the armed forces but the current climate of mistrust towards the ruling class could be spilling out into something more serious.
Athens News reports today that the defence minister has replaced the heads of the Greek armed forces in a surprise move. Having read various autobiographies by generals in the British army such moves are usually planned out years in advance.
The next apparent changes to the head of the Greek armed forces was due in 2013 but apparently this is not the first time the heads of the armed forces have been replaced by surprise.
Could it be a symptom of something more serious? Hard to say at the moment, I suppose the events on the 28th of October could have been the catalyst for changes but at this moment in time, it cannot be put down to anything more than political maneuverings.
