Greek Minimum Wage – The Moral Question Of Centralized Control

I will keep this quick.

You have EU bureaucrats stating what needs to happen to the value of Greek labour and therefore the property of Greeks.

My question is,

How moral is it for political leaders in one country to make the value of labour in another country worth less?

How moral is it for a foreign politician reduce the quality of life of millions of people through manipulation of the currency, the government and the banking system?

And for that matter, how moral is it for a poltician in Greece to dictate the value of Greeks?

How moral is it for a stranger to dictate the value of your labour?

Is it legal for politicians in Greece to openly admit they are bending to the will of foreign political leaders?

What right has an economist employed by the EU to say that Greeks are not worth the money they are paid at the moment and that they need to be paid less because somehow they are not worth as much as their German or Dutch neighbours.

Surely the free market should dictate the value of people’s labour and the value of their property.

Surely the free market should allow people to sell their labour at whatever value they want.

In communism the “state” dictates the value of people’s labour, does the EU not show communist tendencies?
